Lauren Bowles, PT, is the Director of Outpatient Rehabilitation
at Brazosport Regional Health System. A graduate of Texas A&M, she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nutritional Sciences with highest honors and the Senior Merit Award from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences in 1994. Lauren then returned to her home town of Dallas and completed a Master of Science at the Physical Therapy Program in the School of Allied Health at Texas Woman’s University in 1997. Her continuing post-professional education has focused on Manual Therapy training through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, the Institute of Physical Art and the study of Wellness Program Development. Lauren has practiced physical therapy for more than 15 years within the Brazosport area.
Czeahreena Videz, PTRP, PT, DPT
, received a Bachelor's of Science in Physical Therapy in 2002 from the University of Baguio in the Philippines and is a graduate of Utica College in New York and earned her traditional doctorate in Physical Therapy in May 2013. Prior to coming to Texas, Czeahreena (pronounced Serena), primarily worked in general and private hospitals in Baguio City in an outpatient, acute, and home health setting. Czeahreena now works in a variety of therapy areas including sports, musculoskeletal, neurologic, geriatric, and some pediatric rehab. However, her favorite treatment area is providing outpatient care for orthopedic cases.
Teresa Turner, PT
earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University after completing an Associates of Arts from Wharton County Junior College. Prior to joining Brazosport Regional, Teresa provided acute care at Park Plaza, outpatient rehabilitation at TIRR Memorial Herman, and other private and hospital settings. Teresa has a special interest in physical therapy related to orthopedics and amputees. Teresa resides in the community with her husband, Chris, and their four dogs.
Cynthia Rice, PTA
, received an Associates of Applied Science from Wharton County Jr. College in 2003. She has worked as a licensed physical therapist assistance since 2003 and has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 1997. Cyndi has worked in the outpatient therapy clinic with Memorial Hermann Southwest and Dynamic Rehabilitation in Pearland before joining Brazosport Regional Home Health and Outpatient Rehabilitation. Her favorite treatment area includes outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine. Cyndi and her daughter currently reside in Brazoria.
Rhonda Shepard, PTA
, received an Associates of Applied Science from Wharton County Jr. College. Since 1995, she has worked as a licensed physical therapist assistant in several outpatient facilities in Lake Jackson providing care in orthopedic, sports medicine, and aquatic therapy settings. Rhonda lives in Sweeny with her husband and two sons.
Kary Tracy, OT
, earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2002. In addition to Brazosport Regional, Kary has worked for an early childhood intervention center, an Outpatient Rehab setting working with adults and the pediatric population, and a skilled nursing facility providing therapy services to geriatric patients. Kary has advanced training in upper extremity rehab, hand therapy, and custom splint fabrication. Her pediatric training includes Handwriting without Tears, Brain Gym, feeding therapy, fine motor skills, and sensory integration rehab. Kary lives in Lake Jackson with her husband and two kids who are involved with multiple sports and activities around the community.
Dawn Kelly, MS, CCC/SLP
, received a Bachelor’s Degree from Hardin Simmons University and a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from Texas Women’s University. Before joining the Brazosport Regional rehab team, Dawn worked in private and community based programs where she provided administrative support to speech pathology programs in the neonatal intensive care unit, acute care, long-term care, and inpatient and outpatient rehab. She enjoys medical speech pathology including Modified Barium Swallow Study, swallowing difficulty, voice restoration, and cognitive function. Dawn is married to Todd and they have three children.
Marianne Essington, MS, CCC/SLP
, received a Bachelor’s of Science from West Virginia University and a Master’s in Speech Pathology from Rutgers University. The majority of Marianne’s professional services include providing speech therapy to children in public schools. She has over 40 hours of specialized training in the area of Autism that includes therapy and diagnosis. As a result of her training, she is an active member of the District Diagnostic teams that assesses children with concerns in the area of Autism and speech/language concerns. In addition, she received specific training in treating children on the Autism Spectrum using such strategies as discrete trials, applied verbal therapy, and assistive technology team. Marianne has been married for 30 years to Alan and they have three children that were raised in the Brazosport area.
Jessica Bryant, RN
, earned an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Angelo State University and is a certified instructor for Advanced Cardiac Life Support. As a member of Cardiac Rehab team for two years, she has experience providing care in long-term acute care and intensive care settings. One of the things she loves most about nursing is that there are so many ways and opportunities to help people. She truly loves being able assist people in maintaining and even improving their quality of life. Jessica lives in the Brazosport Area with her two sons and daughter.
Amanda Terrasa, EP
, earned a Bachelor’s in Science in Kinesiology in 2011 from Texas Women’s University. Before joining Brazosport Regional, Amanda worked as a Physical Therapy Tech at Lone Star Rehab and Brazosport Rehabilitation and Wellness. As a member of the Cardiac Rehab Team, she enjoys helping patients and learning more about EKG’s. Amanda lives in Lake Jackson with her husband Michael.
