New Radiation Oncologist Joins Cancer Center at Brazosport Regional
Daniel Garlitos, MD, a radiation oncologist, joined the Brazosport Regional Cancer Center in Lake Jackson. With 15 years of experience, Dr. Garlitos has extensive experience in radiation therapy treatment including Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), and 3D Conformal External Beam Radiation Therapy.
Dr. Garlitos started as an attending physician at North East Regional Cancer Center in Humble, and then became the Medical Director at Christus Spohn Radiation Therapy Center in Corpus Christi. Prior to joining the Brazosport Regional Cancer Center, he provided care at Memorial Herman Southeast Cancer Center.
After receiving his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas, Dr. Garlitos completed his internship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He later returned to UTMB to complete his residency program in radiation oncology where he was the Chief Resident for two years.
His care philosophy is to provide the highest quality of personalized care to his patients using the latest radiation therapy technologies. As a board-certified radiation oncologist, Dr. Garlitos focuses on a broad range of cancer cases and offers preventative, diagnostic and therapeutic treatment options.
